Hey, I’m Viv.
I help international development organisations strengthen their work on gender equality, disability and social inclusion
Inclusion advisory at your fingertips
Are you looking to boost your organisations’ policies and practices to make sure you’re walking the talk on gender equality, disability inclusion and social inclusion?
Perhaps you want to make sure you’re designing inclusive programs, backed by evidence, and with program materials that are inclusive of the communities you work with in all their diversity. Or you are looking to develop effective monitoring and evaluation tools that leave no one behind - and propel us all forwards.
Maybe you need a researcher who is skilled in qualitative methods, building databases and reviewing literature on complex social issues?
Do you need an agile report writer who understands the nuances of gender dynamics, and the power imbalances that you are trying to address?
You might need someone to help guide your team towards advancing gender equality, disability inclusion and social inclusion.
Wherever you’re at, I can help you get to more inclusive, equitable programs . . .
for a more inclusive, equitable world.
My Approach
Equality & Inclusion - at the end, and how we get there
I believe that gender equality, disability inclusion and social inclusion should be at the heart of any global change, both as an end goal and baked into how we get there - so that no one is left behind.
Fiercely feminist, intrinsically intersectional
I offer advice and strategies that break down unequal power structures, and layered and compounding discrimination, for a gender equal world.
Tailored to what you, and the communities you work with, need
Good, sustainable change only happens with honest collaboration - and not just with the loudest voices. I do the work to build trust, respect and strong relationships so I can understand contextual nuances and tailor practical advice based on what will actually work.

My PhD research explores the gendered narratives used by the Australian international development sector, and investigates how this shapes and influences advancing gender equality.
My research uses a phased approach to look into different levels of international development and a qualitative, participatory methodology that traces these narratives from policy to programming. Send me a message below if you want to chat more about this!
